Excursion to Aracena and Río Tinto
Walk through the beautiful natural landscapes of the Sierra de Huelva.
We will visit Aracena, a town located in the north of the province of Huelva. We will walk through its beautiful streets until we reach the entrance of the Grotto of Wonders, natural caves with stalactites and stalagmites that will surprise you.
We will continue the tour through the Dehesa de Sierra Morena. We will enjoy the landscape making stops at places such as the Medieval Castle of Aracena, the Mosque of Almonaster la Real and the Peña de Arias Montano. In some of these places we will enjoy lunch to taste the local gastronomy and one of its star dishes: Iberian ham.
We will also visit the town of Rio Tinto, famous for its reddish coloured mines, so characteristic of the water of the Rio Tinto. An environment where NASA studies its extreme conditions.

What is the meeting point?
The meeting point is at Rastro Street, 12A at 08:45, Hotel Don Paco (Plaza Padre Jerónimo de Córdoba, 4) at 08:50 and at Trajano Street, 6 at 09:00. The duration of the tour is approximately 10 hours.

The tour is available in Spanish, English, French and Italian. To guarantee the availability of tours in French and Italian, a minimum of 3 people is required.
What is included in the Tour?
