Every year, on the first full moon of spring, for a week the city is paralysed and absorbed in itself and its celebration. The religious carvings of the best Baroque, the embroidery in gold and silk thread, the silver and gold work fills the streets, accompanied by the noise, the smell of incense, the music… and it goes from the funereal sobriety of a Gran Poder to the overflowing joy of the Macarena.
